Doing Away with School
Sometimes, the traditional route isn’t what’s best for your child. Here’s how one mom made the decision.
Our best “school day strategy” has been to eliminate school in favor of independent study at home. I see no purpose in forcing my child to conform to an environment that is unsuited to his strengths and abilities. Instead, he follows his interests at his own pace – with no homework or test-related stress – and he soaks up information at an astonishing rate.
