Tony Fajardo joined the United States Army after high school. During his time in the Army he served four years active duty in personnel and was transferred to Germany and Fort Sill, OK. Later he joined the Colorado Air National Guard and served for five years in the Honor Guard at Buckley Airforce Base.
The son of Cuban immigrants, his parents fled Fidel Castro’s regime in the mid-1960s. Tony was born in Chicago but the family moved the Miami, FL about 10 years later. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work at Barry University in Florida. He currently lives in Miami with his partner Ricardo whom he first met when they were in their 20s but lost touch and were reunited via Facebook 2 years ago.
