Roberta Tsukahara, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Austin, TX and has specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of attention deficit disorders for more than fifteen years. She has extensive experience in neuropsychological assessment, family and couples counseling, individual therapy, parenting training, and study skills training. She has particular expertise in helping patients learn how to compensate for neurocognitive problems by utilizing techniques tailored to the needs of the individual.
Her formal training included a masters degree in counseling that focused on marriage and family therapy, a doctorate in counseling psychology, and a post-doc in clinical neuropsychology at a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. She served as a staff neuropsychologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston for several years before moving to Austin and has been in private practice there since 2004.
