Rick Hodges: Journalist

Rick Hodges has worked for more than twenty years as a journalist, writer and lobbyist in Washington, D.C. by day and a fiction writer at night. For his play Three Generations of Imbeciles, which highlights the forced sterilization of the intellectually disabled Virginia and across the United States decades before the Nazis copied the practice as part of their eugenics program, Arlington County presented Rick with an award for advancing the lives of people with disabilities through the arts. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Rick lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife Elenor and two daughters.
