Nancie Payne, Ph.D., president of LDA of America, is currently the CEO/President of Payne & Associates, Inc., assisting children and adults with non-apparent disabilities and providing professional development throughout United States and Canada. Payne holds a B.A. from the Evergreen State College, an M.S. in Organizational Development/Human Resources from Chapman University, and a Ph.D. in Adult Learning/Postsecondary from Capella University. She is the author of Adults Who Have Learning Disabilities: Transition from GED to Postsecondary Activities and Job Accommodations: What Works and Why in Learning Disabilities and Employment, among others.
