Dr. Liz Matheis

Dr. Liz Matheis is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist who specializes in treating children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and learning disabilities. With the creation of her ACHIEVE program, Dr. Liz coaches students with ADHD in creating an organizational system that works, getting homework done, teaching study skills, time management and prioritization. Dr. Liz provides psycho-educational assessment that can be used for Child Study Team evaluations, diagnosis of ADHD, autism (using the ADOS-2) and learning disabilities, such as dyslexia.

Looking for extended time on SATs? Dr. Liz can provide you with a report in adherence with Educational Testing Service's (ETS) requirements. Dr. Liz also serves as Parent Coach, in which she helps parents develop boundaries and maintain consistency in the home environment. She has been effective in helping to decrease anxiety in children, adolescents, and adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. She is also a sought-after contributor to numerous publications, blogs and radio shows!
