Laurel loves to write. She wedges word time in between juggling the glass balls of children, marriage, working as an RN and graduate school. Laurel has published poetry, edited unit newsletters, been rough draft advisor for both novelists and nurses. Once upon a time, she performed free-style flow in front of a jazz band in San Francisco. Laurel has subsidized her writing by becoming an RN nearly 20 years ago and has worked in pediatrics from day one.
Three years ago, her son was diagnosed with ADHD, which led to her own diagnosis. Now, both Laurel and her son try to be ADHD champions in their community through living with acceptance, transparency, and tons of humor. You can find Laurel at laurelmakesthings.com
