Hoping to help break the stigma of ADD, Eva created The ADD Social blog site in January of 2021 to create a hub with helpful resources, books and to share her own experiences after being diagnosed with inattentive ADD at age 50. In addition to creating The ADD Social, Eva (‘Miss Eva’ to the 600 plus dance students she taught from 2006 through 2020) recently created and launched Mind Body Dance Kinect recreational workshops for children with learning differences or social anxiety. Her goal is to help children who love to dance but are unable to learn or retain choreography in a neurotypical dance class environment.
Prior to owning her own dance studio in Jackson, NJ for 14 years, Eva worked as a desktop publisher / help desk support specialist in Manhattan, NY. During those years, she attended New York University where she received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. Now that her children are grown, she is attending SNHU to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Eva is a native New Yorker born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, a former ‘club kid’ who grew up in the street dance club scene of NYC, and a single mother of two sons ages 18 and 22, a 10 year old white pom-a-chon pup (Pomeranian Bichon), and an 11 year old gray tabby cat.
