An educator for 25+ years, I've worked as Head of Special Education for over 10 amazing years. I adore my career, the rewards, the heartbreaks and the learning curves that evolve from the ever-changing needs for our students with severe, and not so severe, challenges. The most gratifying of it all is my role as an advocate/coach. Giving a voice to students and their families, the people who love them most and love them unconditionally. Teaching and supporting them as they learn to navigate first, the education system, and then the world.
