I am passionate about mental health and breaking stigma. As someone with ADHD, I personally understand the complexity, pain, and beauty of this condition. I believe that we need to give voice to our experiences in order to increase understanding in ourselves and others. I currently work at a treatment facility for women in recovery because I love empowering others. Every person, regardless of their past, has so much potential. I am also in the process of receiving a Bachelor’s of Neuroscience at Brigham Young University in Utah. Self-care is important and so I spend time every morning doing something fun with my husband, Jeremy, and our lovable cat, Kyla. I have a deep love for the diversity of culture as I was born and raised in South Africa – a country brimming with diversity.
