Mixing Medications: Valium and ADHD Stimulants

"My daughter will have surgery soon and the surgeon prescribed Valium for the day of her operation. Should she take her ADHD med that day?"

Your question should be answered by the doctor prescribing the ADHD medication. For my patients, I would suggest that they stay off the stimulant on the day of the surgery.
