Too Much Medication? Or the Wrong Kind?

"My medication no longer works. I've had to escalate the dose, but feel like a zombie."

by Larry Silver, M.D.

There are numerous different medications to use for ADHD—Ritalin, Dexedrine, and Adderall are but three of them.

You should not have to suffer nor should you have to use more medication than your doctor suggests.I recommend that you find someone who is an expert in treating ADHD and try a different medication approach. If you want to read more about these other medications, look over the chapter on medication in my book, "Dr. Larry Silver's Advise to Parents on ADHD."
