Mixing Medications: Valium and ADHD StimulantsFiled Under: ADHD Stimulant Medications
Q:
"My daughter is very nervous about her upcoming oral surgery, and the surgeon has prescribed Valium for the day of her operation. Is this safe? Should she take her ADHD med that day?"
A:
Your question should be answered by the doctor prescribing the ADHD medication. For my patients, I would suggest that they stay off the stimulant on the day of the surgery.
