St. John's Wort No Help for ADHD SymptomsFiled Under: Supplements for ADHD, Alternative Treatments for ADHD
Q:
Can St. John's wort help kids with ADHD?"
A:
Many herbal remedies have been tried as possible ADHD treatments. To date, none have been found to be successful. A recent study on using St. John’s wort to treat ADHD reached the same conclusion: It did not help. This study was discussed in the June 2008 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association.
