Andrew Gilbert, M.D.

Andrew R. Gilbert, M.D. is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and medical director of the Hallowell Center in New York City. Dr. Gilbert has training in cognitive-behavioral (CBT), family, and psychodynamic therapy. He practices an integrative, strength-based approach to psychiatry, incorporating evidence-based treatment, knowledge from his extensive clinical training, and his broad experience working with patients and families. Dr. Gilbert is the recipient of numerous awards from leading psychiatry organizations/institutions, including the National Institutes of Mental Health (NIMH), the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP), the Society of Biological Psychiatry (SOBP), and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).
