My son hates school. he is not excelling although he is VERY smart. His attitude is defiant for no reason. He has what I call a bad and negative attitude. He is an only child and spends most of his time alone. He would stay on his computer/video game all day if I let him. I am growing very concerned for his future. He shows signs of being extremely lazy (i know its the add) He makes a big deal about brushing his teeth. He just refuses to take care of himself. Every day is a struggle.

This is not about a break for me. I don't know what else to do for this child. I want to give him anything I can so he will at least be an independent and self maintaining adult. Does anyone know of a good boarding school that specializes in ADHD. I don't have a lot of money but I will go in to debt to do something for my son. i have my own anxiety about sending him away but I am at the point where I feel like If I don't do something my son is going to be lost.
