won't medicate

my sons school are surgesting, i try medication for my sons adhd, to help him through his gcse's, when he moves up to year 10 next term. I have been refusing to medicate for over 8 years, personally i think it wrong. I always try natural remedies, with some effect, but do i go agaist what i believe or do i carry on the way i'm going, he's a lot better than he used to be and he's a grade a student when he does his work because as with many children with this condition he's a clever little sod. So if any one has any advice would like to hear it, to save me banging my head up a wall. cheers dave..
