If you only use an Ipad than the built in calendar and notes works for me. If you want to keep it synced to a regular laptop / desktop that I like a web based app like google calendar or sanglaz is pretty cool.

For iphone 4s, Siri has been a huge help for reminders and appointments. Unfortunately, she is not on my iPad. Right now I am in the process of trying out reQall. I like the concept of having all reminders in the cloud. I get reminded on every device I use. It will even search Evernote based on key words in my to-do list. BTW I'm excited to be %95 paperless by using Evernote, Dropbox, and now reQall!
