not losing cell phone

Hi all, I don't use my cell phone--because I can't keep track of it! One problem: I switch between a few different bags depending what I have to do that day (small bag, computer bag, workout bag) and usually forget to put the cell phone in the day's bag. Another problem: it falls to the bottom of the bag and I have trouble finding it. I also forget to recharge the battery, or if I do recharge it, I forget to remove it from the battery charger and put it back in the bag. I also can't figure out how to do anything with it, like keep people's numbers so I don't have to dig out my hard-copy appointment book to call people. Has anybody else had this problem? How did you deal with it? Also, which cell phones are the most technophobe-friendly? I'm using an inexpensive Samsung from T-Mobile, pay-per-go because it doesn't make sense to spend money on a plan when I can't keep track of my phone. Thanks so much. I'm hoping I'm not the only AD/HDer out there with this issue.

Cell Phone Woes

I have had several cell phones over the last few years. Some I lost, one I smashed on the highway because it wouldn't keep a signal. People, family, friends and colleagues, tell me all the time they tried to call me. I just pretend I have no idea why that didn't work. The phone has been left on my desk, or on the charger, or in my car for days at a time. I tried clipping it to my belt, but that drove me nuts. I need some new implanted technology. Like press you left earlobe to answer and again to hang up?

I "lose" my cell phone at least once a day

If I am having difficulty remembering which home we are currently living in (I have lived in 15 homes scattered across the USA during my lifetime) so I know which way to go to find the bathroom and do not get "lost" in my current home, I am absolutely incapable of remembering where I last put my cell phone. I do not have any problems outside the home since I only own one purse and there is a pocket for my cell phone. Inside the house is a different story. It has been located in the freezer, in the garbage can, in the laundry closet, in the basket of dirty clothes, under the bed, in the bed covers, on a high shelf in a closet where I keep my shoes, and under the kitchen sink. I could go on and on but I am quite fortunate that my husband works as a maintenance man for the Federally subsidized housing complex we live in and comes home for lunch every day from 12 noon to 1 pm. 60% of the time I can visually spot which apartment he is working on. The rest of the time I just wait for him to come home for lunch or come home at 5pm. He uses his cell phone and calls my cell phone - I have downloaded an obnoxious ringer set at the highest level of sound; if my cell phone is in our apartment the last place I left is quickly discovered to shut that nasty obnoxious ringer off.

cell phone woes!

Funny! At least I know I'm not alone. I wonder if the ADD stores online have special cell phones for people like us. (Hmmm, there's a business idea...cell phones for people with ADD. So many ideas, so little organizational ability...)
