Re- ADHD & trying to get pregnant ...
I completely understand where you are comming from , accept for the fact that I am ADD & my husband of ten yrs is ADHD , neither one of us are on any medication , simply due to the fact that we have been trying for quite some time to get pregnant but have not had any luck, bothI of us would never forgive ourselves if our child was born with sort of birth defect due to medication . I have a ten yr old son from a previous relationship & will testify that not taking medicaion for my ADD while I was pregnant w/ my son , was the best thing I ever did, not only that but my son was not born ADD & is perfectly healthy , along with being academically gifted ... I am a firm believer that medication is not for everyone , some ADD/ ADHD people need medication , & some ADD/ADHD people don't need medication , I am one whom chooses not to medicate & prefers to deal with my ADD on my own terms . Now as for my husband well that is a different story , to say the least its not easy being married to an ADHDér , there are times when I just want to pull my hair out , Its definately not easy being ADD/ADHD in a non ADD/ADHD world these day....
