I am almost 41 and just recently diagnosed with ADD. I now realize (after thinking I was just defective all those years and after researching) that I am very ADD. My doctor prescribed 20mg Adderall XR with another 10mg IR later in the day. I have noticed absolutely no difference and my doctor was very surprised. She told me to start taking both pills together, but I still have no effects (other than I feel like I crash after about 8 hours). Is this normal? Why would my doctor seem surprised? Is anyone on a higher dosage? I was really hoping so badly to feel more focused. I have a lot to get accomplished this summer. Any ideas or feedback? Thanks!
