This all started by me (proud parent) who would get the very far and few in between graded papers back from the teacher that had a 80% or better and started posting them on my refrigerator. After a few, I cleaned off my fridge of everything but her (my daughter) papers. Then I bought some really cool magnets that I knew she would love. Then I told her one morning, "You know, I really LOVE decorating my fridge with all your hard work. If you'd like, I'd really like more papers like this. In fact, lets try and cover the ENTIRE fridge with graded papers that you have 80% or more on". Everytime she brings me home a paper with 80% or more, we make it fun and I let her pick the magnet. This actually inspires her. It has become such a game that now she wants me to put all the 100% papers at the top followed by the 90% and 80%. She wants to fill the entire fridge up with 100% papers. At this rate, I may need to buy a super fridge!
