ADHD Summer Camp

While I was "cruising the net" today, I came across an ADHD summer camp offered by Duke University. The link doesn't appear to work, but you should be able to copy & paste it into the search bar, or find the page via google.

Has anyone sent their child to the camp?

Answer to your question

I"m not familliar with the Duke program but summer programs run by colleges tend to be clinical in nature and not always fun for the kids. Please feel free to check us out: www.camp-sequoia.com

Summer Camp for kids with ADHD

Wow! When I was a kid, I never heard of camps specific to ADHD kids. I attended Camp Chateaugay in upstate New York, which was a perfect solution for keeping me busy during the summer lulls.

I recently wrote about how the extra exercise helped me on my ADHD blog: http://www.juliannanwilson.com/2011/11/adhd-burden-of-over-eagerness.html

Happy hyper-activating!
