Help with cost of a private school

I have a 10 year old 4th grade son with ADHD, he has been just "getting by" in our public school. This year his grades are really starting to suffer. He has a 504 but did not qualify for an IEP (too smart.....). In public school he is the kid who is falling between the cracks. We are looking into a fantastic private school in our area, small class size, individualized instruction and alternative learning techniques. But of course the cost is crazy!!!! Does anyone know how we could apply for some financial assistance?

Schools often times get it wrong for eligibility.

In Florida students with IEP's qualify for a McKay Scholarship and may take their student to a private school.

However, I think you may be receiving poor information about IEP eligiblity. Most of my students-clients have ADD and ADHD. Many of them are gifted. However, grades alone are not what makes your child qualified or not. I often get clients who have been determined to be ineligible to actually be eligible for ESE services. Private school/Summer Camp funding in Wisconsin???

I'm a single mom of 2 children. I have ADD, adn my chidlren have ADHD. We live in Milwaukee, and are up here by ourselves; no family, no support, no nothing! I'm trying to find a better school for my children, as well as summer camps they can attend. I have done online research & came across some, but they're EXPENSIVE! I'm currently not working, so coming up with ANY money is next to impossible! Any suggestions?
