I have now tried both adderall and vyvanse and while they both help tremendously with my ADD they both have a side effect of giving me a bright red nose. Sounds silly but it actually gets to the point where it's kind of painful. It usually comes on me mid afternoon and seems to have some connection with eating also. I'm a 31 year old healthy female. I'm really hoping someone on here has some insight as to why this is happening and if there is A) a medication that doesn't have this side effect or B) know what's causing this reaction and how to counteract it. When I mentioned it to my doctor he brushed it off and told me he had never heard of that before. I have read a number of posts on related sites stating the EXACT same thing I am though. There must be an answer!!!

I have also tired cutting out caffeine and artificial sugars. While I didn't try this for more than a week at a time it didn't seem to have any affect. Please Help!
