Dexedrine Spanules Generic

Does anyone know if there is a difference between Generic Barr Dexedrine Spansules and the original brand Dexedrine Spansules? After trying several of the newer meds, I am trying Dexedrine Spanules again after several years of no meds. I used to take the non-generic. Is the generic as effective? Thanks so much!
