So my 8yr old daughter started on Strettera in May 2010. It did wonders for her. She was a happy and focused child. She then got the side effects a few months later ealr morning rising,and sever headaches so bad that she would vomit and even fainted. After one night in the hospital and MRI's, bloodtest, CAT scans and EEG and nothing was found she was taken off. A hopful Mom I was hoping that during the 3 week waiting period of a new med I would see all the skill building we did pay off and she wouldn't need to go on any meds....well that dream ended 2 weeks into it. When i saw my happy child fall apart. She was struggling at school again and even said to me one day "I want to feel like I use to mommy....this feels bad!" She has anxiety and always has and have been told by many how the anxiety maybe looking like ADD. So we started Zoloft yesterday and I worry! What will this med do to her? What side effects will happen? Will this work? anyone else have experience with Zoloft?
