Step-daughter was over-prescribed Adderall

My step-daughter, who is now 36, found a doctor about 8 years ago who dealt with her ADHD by prescribing her 120mg of Adderall a day. He didn't recognize her chronic depression and borderline personality disorder, so for the last 8 years or so she's been moving around a lot and doctor-shopping and always somehow managing to find someone who will renew it - and never having her depression and BPD addressed. Until now. Unable to find anyone to give her Adderall she is, at this moment, laying in bed unable to move. The massive dosage she has been on has left her without any coping skills, motivation or will to do anything. She is a burned out shell, unable to do anything constructive to deal with her problems. She can barely get out of bed to go to the bathroom but refuses all offers of help. If she makes any mention of suicide we're prepared to use it to have her involuntarily commited, but even then - what are her long-term prospects? I've never heard of anyone taking that high of a dosage - what irreversible damage has been done? What are we facing?
