Hi,

I'm brand new to the forum, and hoping for some referrals. Our 10-year-old son (ADHD-Inattentive type) is displaying increasing difficulty with focus /staying-on-task this year. He's normally an excellent student who cares about his grades, but we see things beginning to unravel this school year (5th grade). Same for home. So we're ready to consider meds and are in search of a good developmental pediatrician, or perhaps psychiatrist. We live in the Northwest side of Chicago, and would also consider traveling to nearby suburbs for a good doc. We're looking for an md who's a good listener, hopefully accepts insurance, and has experience with inattentive kids.
