Morfe than the Hyper side in this medicine

I have taken Ritlian for years I have the hyper side but a lot of people I know don't have it. Ritilian is a good medication for either and does not effect the person with just ADD. I have to add valium to help with my hyper side, Give Ritilian a try for a few months.

My son takes Adderrall. He's not hyper like your son...he is the innattentive type. It helps him to focus.

Hi. I think you might want to talk to a doctor to clarify things. As a 15 year old diagnosed young, I have been able to do a lot of research and might be able to help. ADHD as you know, is ADD with hyperactivity. Even though the disorders are different, the treatment is generally the same. Both are generally treated with stimulants such as Ritalin or Adderall. The reason for this is that stimulants generally work "opposite" for people with ADD and ADHD. So although the medications may say "ADHD", they SHOULD work for ADD also because ADHD is the same disorder with just an added symptom. Think of it like this. You have a non-permanent marker stain in a shirt and the detergent says it gets out permanent marker. That will still work since regular marker still falls under the same category, just less severe. The medicine will treat ADD very well, but is capable of treating ADHD as well. So medications that say they are for the treatment of ADHD will work for disorders under the same category, up to a certain severity/classification (in this case, ADHD). So ADHD meds generally work for disorders such as ADD, or a hyperactivity disorder. If your doctor is not educating you on these facts, you should immediately find a new doctor who not only can provide you with medecine, but with helpful facts and tips for your child. Private message me with any questions! Good luck!
