It's hard for me to understand Spanish

I have ADHD, and I am medicated. I am in highschool, and I'm taking Spanish. I'm great in all my other classes, I am in a magnet program. So it's not a focus problem. I just can't seem to remember the words, and I am ok with my homework and classwork. But when I take the tests I think I did very well. However, I get the test back and I get a bad grade. Also oral reports are hard for me. I had to make one up on the spot, and I got a D. I told my teacher I have ADHD and that isn't a very fair thing to make the class do, but she didn't care. I have to take Spanish for 4 years. It's really hard for me to learn Spainish. I have two questions. 1. Is this normal? 2. What can I do to learn it better?
