Hi All, Well...school starts in tomorrow for my wonderful 13yo son but he hasn't taken his medicine in over a month. Here's where mom's boo boo comes in. I had intended on starting him on back on his meds about a week ago but somehow it didn't happen :-(. He really does not want to take them but we have tried that. Also, he plays football and due to our first string QB getting hurt, he is now the QB and has a lot of responsibility. The meds can slow him down until it gets out of his system but he is on the lowest dosage of Concerta and he weighs 140lbs and is over 5'8". I am worried about all of this. Being QB addt'l stress, not being on his meds, starting 8th grade.

Ughhh, I am not sure if I should give him his meds tomorrow or wait a week or so. I am leaning towards waiting a week or so because the first week will be light. Please comment! I need to hear from someone else other than my own thoughts!
