Sleep Issues

I have issues getting up in the morning, but this appears to only occur on certain days and about certain activies. This is extremely disturbing to me because I am starting college this year and I really want it to be a success and I do not want my ADHD to be a crutch for not achieving my goals I have set for myself.

I have the same problem

This is really easy to fix. If you have an alarm clock, as soon as it goes off sit up immedietly. Then turn it off. Then you have to get out of bed and do something or even just walk around. If you don't, it's really hard to get yourself out of bed.

Trouble Waking up

Acknowledging you have trouble waking up is the first step. In college, I never, never, signed-up for 8:00am classes. I never attended the two I scheduled.

The one 9:00am course I scheduled for myself, I chose the class with the professor I had the hots for to motivate me to be there on time.

Try to pick an alarm that either scares the poop out of you or annoys you. Then place the alarm across the room, so you have to get out of bed to turn it off. Then you are less likely to fall back asleep.
