Large Bulletin Board

I have a large bulletin board in my bedroom. We need to get another one for the living room, and another one for my youngest son. My oldest boy prefers to use a large white board in his bedroom.

I have important things pinned to my bulletin board (receipts, doctors appointments, bus money--dollar bills, documents, forms) so I can easily and quickly find them.

good idea

This is a good idea because we adhders are very visual. Out of sight and VERY out of mind. I'll be trying this, thanks.

Excellent idea!

I recommend this to my clients and use this myself. For myself, I draw an invisible line down the middle of the board, and label one side "MUST DO" and the other "MASTER LIST." The "MUST DO" title is written in red, while the "MASTER LIST" is written in green. I find that writing in red really focuses my attention to what NEEDS to get done quicker than what I need to get done, but not immediately.

Getting Organized ....

My oldest son prefers to use a white board. I prefer a bulletin board. I can't still write messages, then use push pins to post the messages. I also have messages posted around my computer desk and hutch. Also, I post messages other places ....

I really need to get another large bulletin board, and a separate bulletin board for my youngest son ....

I color code my notes too! I write appointments in my daily planner, using color coded and abbreviated messages.
