Can't afford coaching
I don't mean to be glib, but when I read your post I thought, it sounds like you can't afford not to get a coach. Coaching can be expensive but here are three things to consider.
If you become more effective at managing your symptoms you may find that coaching will help pay for itself. Whether it's reducing late fees, avoiding spending due to lower stress levels, better drug management, or better time management, you may find that coaching improves your financial situation. It certainly helped with mine.
Secondly, coaching can often be reduced after the first couple of months. Many of the benefits I received were very early on in the process.
Finally, ask the coach if they'll work out a lower rate to start provided you will buy a certain number of sessions. Also shop around. The best coaches aren't necessarily the most expensive.
I wish you the best.
