We sent our daughter there for her first sleep over camp when she was around 12 yrs old. She loved it and we thought it was a good camp fit for her. Our daughter is now 17 and so we have not had any exposure to Nuhop since then. Our daughter was able to attend other camps successfully after her first time at Nuhop. It was expensive, but thought the price was worthwhile, especially for her first experience.

Thanks. I'm glad your daughter's experience was good. We're torn between Nuhop and Camp Firefly in Wisconsin. Will probably end up sending him to the one in WI because it's closer, but it sounds like a similar program. I think it will be nice for him to feel like part of the crowd, and I won't have to worry that the counselors don't "get him."
