Strattera when to take it?

My 7 year old daughter was just diagnosed with ADD. She does great at school. She has straight A's and isn't an issue behavior wise. She just has a hard time staying on task, staying focus and being distracted my others, daydreams and has anxiety. She was given Strattera. My dr didn't say to give it to her at any specific time of day. My question is: Is it better to give at dinner when that is the meal she eat the most at or in the morning? She is a pretty good sleeper and worry that the meds will disrupt that....

Try Morning time

Hi, I just started taking Strattera and my doctor advised me to take it in the morning. It didn't seem to bother my stomach since I usually have a shake for breakfast. You can try it both ways to see which works best for your daughter. Good luck!

Strattera Dosing

My daughter (13) did take the Strattera in the morning but found it made her sleepy. The doctor suggested 10mg in the morning and then 10mg right after school. This has worked perfectly. The first dose helped her through school and the second dose helped her manage in the evenings.
