What supports should we ask for?

My son is starting kindergarten next year. Has the normal ADHD issues - easily distracted, short attention span, implusivity, etc. Also diagnosed with Asperger's so has additional social issues, as well as communication delays. He is also extremely bright, reading for more than three years now and learning multiplication, so we need to address that do. I have no idea what supports are available/appropriate. Can anyone offer me some guidance, his IEP meeting is in a few days. Thanks.

Assess and see

Other than a focus on some explicit support/instruction in social skills and social interactions, I would recommend a more systematic and monitoring of how she does -- Maybe some basic documentation and data collection, then monitor the data and take a more strategic, prescriptive approach instead of asking for the "standard."

I have my thoughts on accommodations in my blog.
