Recent Diagnose of adhd in daughter

Can some one point me to either a good book or something w/ great info that explains options on treatment and what should the school should offer in services to help a child w/ adhd. thanks!!!

hi there, I don't know how old your daughter is, ours is 8 and was diagnosed whrn she was 7. Two books I have found most helpful are Taking Charge of ADHD by Russell Barkley, lots of suggestions about home and school here, as well as info for adhd at a variety of ages. The other book I really love is Understanding Girls With ADHD by Kathleen Nadeau ,which is an awesome resource as a lot of the literature seems to refer to boys and typical boy behaviour . Good luck
