What made you go to the doctor for the first time?

Hi,

I am considering getting screened at my University, as I have many times before... I've always been really successful at school, but really little things, like dealing with voicemail, or operating a vehicle (not little, but it doesn't seem so hard for other people), are so difficult/enraging. However, I don't know if I should really go. For illness there's always those lists that say "When you should seek medical attention..." , like if your fever lasts for more than a few days.... If you made a list like that for ADD or ADHD, what would it say? I'm afraid of going in there and saying I think I have ADD and sounding like I'm just another student who wants medication. Is it better to just talk to the doctor, and let them tell you what they think, or should I say what I'm worried about?
