Chapter 3: page 50; Book:Woman with Attention Deficit Disorder by Sari Solden

Five years ago, I bookmarked several pages in this book, and yesterday, I looked over my bookmarks and am questioning what exactly Ms. Solden meant on chapter three, page 50. I thought to be "locked in the closet" mean't homosexuality or lesbianism. Homesexuality and lesbianism is often thought of as shameful, or, in other words, ashamed before "coming out of the closet." Is this book or chapter written for the lesbian?

If a person is prescribed medicine or treated for ADD, I think that person should be released from their messess, not made to stay and fix them, or be punished for treatment. In my opinion treatment is the equivilency of learning to drive a car (and enjoy man better).
