7 year old- About to start meds, what to expect from Dr visit

7 year old ADD not HD-Starting meds- what to expect from Dr visit? Hi, We have been diagnosed for 1 year and we are meeting with our peditrician on Tuesday to begin the process for getting my son on a med. What should expect? Blood test, EKG, etc.

So Sad there was no reply to this very good question....

I'm on the same boat. I'll be having a meeting for first time to prescribe meds for my son and I was wondering what should I expect. Does he has to be checked often to see if the meds are not affecting his body in a wrong way? Blood pressure, heart, ?? Any insight would be appreciate it.
