adult ADD/ work fulltime and and going to school online....help

I work fulltime and am going to school online. (Not a good idea) I have a hard time doing homework. I like what I am learning, but alot of it is so boring. Alot of spelling, grammar, memorizing terms and reading. I have gotten lazy with house work, and school. I used to be a bit ocd, I have anxiety disorder also. I take celexa and adderall xr. I used to have a spotless house and get things done but now I have no desire to do my schooling. I was never a good student I just graduated and not with high marks. I feel good on meds. But rather watch t.v. and be on the internet. I need some advice. My school is done in Sept 10 and I am not far. I also have a bit of Deslexia. Do I need higher dose of meds. Any advice would be great. Started out awesome on meds now bluh. Would like to finish this course and get a new job but at this rate. Ugh. Yes, I am a talker my brain never shuts down. lol Thank you,

Working full time & fulltime online college plus 7 kids!

I am in the same boat you are in! I recieved a promotion to a directors position BUT the minimum education requirements was a bachelors degree. I have an associates, so back to school I went. Now i'm trying to learn my new job and take online classes. One thing that keeps me going is the fact that I have to do this to keep my great new job. I am still always pushing deadlines, staying up till midnight to get my work turned in. The 1st session of school was a complete disaster, I only passed one of the classes (with an A!) but failed to complete the other class. This was a good lesson for me, now I am making school more of a priority for myself. I communicate with my instructors & let them know if something is going on that will delay my assignments. Good luck to you! You almost have it made!

I understand

I am 52 years old with ADHD/Dyslexic and I take Strattra 90mg during the day. I am attending Grand Canyon University online and carrying a 4.0 average for the first time in my life. I get extra help through the university if I need it, I try real hard to keep up or ahead with my class. I can only take one at a time, knowing this will take me longer but I am doing great with the one at a time. I have tried working full time and going to school and my work suffered and lost my job. I know my strength and weaknesses. I have to focus on school because failing is not in my cards. It is difficult but with the right medication you can do it. Good luck, God bless Sincerely, Catherine
