Obsessed with loose teeth

Looking for advice... Every time my 7 year old ADHD daughter discovers she has a loose tooth, instead of letting it loosen by itself over the next week or so, she will wiggle, pull, twist, wrench on it almost constantly until it finally gets loose enough to yank out. This usually takes her about a day! She gets blood all over everything and ends up with a huge hole in her gum because the tooth really wasn't ready to come out. It makes me sick to my stomach. It is like she is obsessed with the tooth and literally can't do anything else until it is out of her mouth. I swear she doesn't feel pain. I have been unsuccessful in distracting her. We are now working on our 5th tooth and I don't think I can watch this process another 15 times. Any ideas?

loose Teeth

My 10 yr Old son has the same problem. I dont know if it attributed to his permenant teeth coming in all crooked? The dentist seems to think it did because the "holes" were open longer than normal and allowed the teeth coming in to shift..We are now looking at thousands of dollars in dental care and orthodontics..... I wish someone would find a distraction to this "obsession" before the rest of his teeth do the same???.. He is just now becoming aware of the "look" of his crooked, overlapping teeth
