Broken things around the house?

Does anyone else have this problem? I have a tendency to break things around the house accidently? Is it my adhd? In the past year I have broken my dvd remote, cable remote, keyboard, mouse and other things. I tend to keep broken things because I say I am going to either fix them or get around to fixing them. Then I just buy a replacement and still keep the broken item.

Broken things

Hia Dmissy,

I hav e bipolar but I do the same thing lol. My son has ADHD etc and he goes through phases of things, he has just got over a phase of snapping all my hangers and making them into guns AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!! He collects sticks also, I find these sticks everywhere.

At the time it isnt funny when he breaks things but afterwards I have to laugh, when he was 6-7yrs old he broke my cooker by putting a can of beens in there and blew the cooker door half way across the kitchen. He thought he was spiderman once and climb up the curtains and the whole thing came out of the wall. He has broken my bed and lampshade, thinking he was fighting another super being. 2 settees have been replaced, OMG I could go on and on.

1 thing I can say...............there is never a dull moment ha ha ha

Definitely :)

I drop things all the time, because I'm thinking of the next thing I'm going to do instead of what I'm actually doing, and so I'm not paying attention. I'm surprises I haven't been through more cellphones than I have, I drop them on the floor on a daily basis, but phones are surprisingly long lasting. ;) My main issue with keeping things is that I just can't get around to getting rid of them even if they are broken. Especially if it's for instance elctric things, since they need to be recycled. Which means I can't just throw them out, I need to drive to a recycling place. That is constantly on my list, but never gets done.
