Book recommendation
Hello everyone!
So during my last trip to the NYPL (New York Public Library), I stumbled upon a book called "A Perfect Mess: The Hidden Benefits of Disorder" by Eric Abrahamson and David H. Freedman (New York: Little Brown and Co., 2006).
I recommend it to all those out there frustrated with their messy ways. Not only is it interesting and highly entertaining, it is a good counterpoint to all the hyperorganized folks out there who tend to condemn all disorganization as evil. Moreover, it has great examples of both mess that has lead to great success, and pathological forms of it that will most likely make you feel better about your own clutter (or at least show you that there are others out there who can match you!).
There is even a mention of ADHD with Ed Hallowell being featured in the chapter on "Pathological Mess" (which is not as condemning of ADDers as it might sound).
Happy Reading!!
