A book about Advocacy

Good Morning! I am a parent2parent family ADHD teacher for CHADD. I have a 13 year old son, diagnosed when he was 6. i actually have 4 children..one who is 20 was just recently diagnosed! I do believe that the other 2 kids, one 27 and one 22, are undiagnosed but have ADHD as well! I recently wrote a book called The Seventh Inning Sit: A Journey of ADHD. It is a book of advocacy, using information out there and applying it to my real life situation. it shows how inept the public schools are when dealing with children with ADHD..leaving them unsuccessful academically and with a low self-esteem. parents have to gain information and advocate for the needs of their child in order to ensure happiness and success. Thats what i have tried to show. And whats interesting...he is now in a school for children with learning differences..and believe it or not, i continue to advocate for this child with this very misunderstood medical diagnosis!!! if interested, my book is on Amazon.com..also, i recently got it on the Great Schools website! http://www.greatschools.org/LD/slideshows/great-books-on-ADHD.gs?content=1807 I recommend 3 books that I really like about ADHD...and there is my bio and a link to my book as well! thanks....Karen K Lowry
