I am new to this site, and am soooooo glad I came across it :)! My 5 1/2 year old son was just diagnosed with having severe ADHD with OCD, we are also told he will have many other diagnosis to come but for now they are working with these two diagnosis. I had heard/read somewhere on several occasions that ADHD is under the "umbrella" of the Autism Spectrum, but when I asked our Developmental Pediatrician they told me no that is silly. Is this under the spectrum "umbrella"? I also was reading a book from the library the other day that stated that if you have ADHD that you most likely to have other co-morbid conditions. The way they wrote it made it sound like everyone who has ADHD or ADD most definitely have another condition like (OCD, Dyslexia, ODD, Asperger's, Depression, Anxiety disorder etc.), but I know a few people who have ADD or ADHD who only have that not multiple conditions. Just wondering what your thoughts are ??
