Vyvanse - Not Finding Right Meds

I will post this in the ADD forum also.

I was diagnosed with ADD (not ADHD) about a year ago, after my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD. NO medications have made a noticeable difference. This may be due to my high tolerance to medications in the first place...I always need high doses. I have previously been diagnosed with depression, which I did not feel was accurate. Depression meds did nothing either.

I have tried concerta, adderall, strattera, provigil, and maybe others I'm forgetting. They had no affect really. Now I'm trying Vyvanse and I feel very jittery, and LESS focused. I am jumping from one thing to another...which I already do anyway, but it feels worse on the Vyvanse.

Anyone else have the same struggles? Both with Vyvanse and finding the right meds?

Alternative ADHD Treatments

Your struggle isn't uncommon. You should work closely with your Doctor to determine the correct ADHD medication and correct dosage.

If medication isn't helping, you might try some lifestyle and diet changes, or alternative ADHD treatments. Some people have great success with supplements like fish oil.

Amphetarestore

Hi,

if you don't already know, there is a supplement called amphetarestore. it's main function is to detoxify the body and decrease tolerance to medication. this could help you, feel the positive effects of the drugs you are taking. it's worth a try, i've know a lot of people that benefit from it including myself. you can check out their website at http://www.amphetarestore.com. At first you might not feel anything but just keep on taking it and you'll notice some difference after a few days or maybe a week or two.

hope this helps. happy holidays!
