Evaluation Time at work. Looking for helpful tips, etc

I struggle with focus, meeting deadlines, boredom, not being understood, etc. I'm so tired! I just can't take it anymore!!! Any tips?

How got out of there...

I am 47 and was diagnosed as a kid. I thought I grew out of it. When my job was in jeopardy last year I went to a doctor to see if it was ADD. It was! He put me on meds and it really helped. It took about two weeks but I really noticed it when I missed a dose and had to back space 80 times per email. I was much better at not interrupting people in long boring meetings and I actually manged 90% of the time to attach the attachment before I sent the email..my boss was very happy about not getting so many recall messages on his blackberry. Two more things that work, I use Yahoo chat - not to chat but to use their radio program. I can listen in my headphones to whatever type of music I'm in the mood for while I type long documentation which helps tune out distractions. I take a squeeze ball to meetings. When I start to drift is squeeze the ball - under the table and it helps keep me from zoning. Good Luck - your not alone :).
